HOPE PINNA PROJECT

Project Purpose:

The purpose of the project is to highlight the importance of Pinna nobilis, a bivalve endemic to the Mediterranean and currently at risk of extinction, within the marine ecosystem. The project aims to raise awareness about the species, increase its recognition, and foster greater environmental consciousness around the Sea of Marmara.

Project Duration:

5 (Five) years

Main Activities of the Project:

•Development of promotional materials

•Development of VR-supported promotional technology

•Creation of promotional booths

•Development, printing, and promotion of permanent materials such as stories, animations, speeches, etc.

•Gamification

•Increasing media visibility

•Content creation for new media tools

•Organizing interactive events to introduce various communities to marine ecosystems

•Organizing underwater photography and film competitions
