Pinna (Pinna nobilis) Conservation and Monitoring Project in the Sea of Marmara (MAR-PİNA)
Project Objective:
The primary goal of this project is to determine the distribution areas and stock of Pinna nobilis, whose only surviving population in the world is located in the Sea of Marmara. The project also aims to monitor pathogens causing mass mortality in Pinna nobilis, develop conservation strategies, and establish monitoring procedures.
Project Duration:
